Sauerbrunn 3.5.2012

Herwig Gießwein has invited me to join him on a walk around Bad Sauerbrunn, where he usually walks his dogs. The weather is a bit overcast, but dry, and on the first part of our walk there are no good views for pictures.

Now we visit wayside shrine above Sauerbrunn, where we have a good view over the village ...

... as well as to Schneeberg, which is rather far from here.

At this spot, Hungarian Iris (Iris variegata) shows its first flowers.

We go for a short detour into lovely hillside ...

 ...

to visit a small dry grass area, where a milkwort species (Polygala comosa) is growing, although a bit withered already.

Zypressen - Wolfsmilch (Euphorbia cyparissias).
