Bicycle tours 15.6. and 18.6.2005
On Wednesday, 15.6. I intended to have a look at boggy grassland near Luising in the district of Guessing. However, some longer telefone calls kept me from riding, and afterwards an impending thunderstorm made me give up after only 3 km.
Punctate loosestrife (Lysimachia punctata) is growing here at the edges of the fields
Now itīs time to hurry up to the car ...
Landscape in southern Burgenland: View to Urbersdorf
18.6.2005: A short mountainbike - round through Fischauer Vorberge. Near Bad Fischau/Brunn "Steppe" -sage (Salvia nemorosa) is growing in great amounts near the roads, like in many other places around.

Here the main attraction of the day: Adriatic Lizard Orchid (Himantoglossum adriaticum), on some places in big groups
On a meadow near Finkenhaus: Muecken - Haendelwurz (Gymnadenia conopsea)
