Mitterberg 11.5.2008

A short morning walk with familiy and friends to the rock formation called "Steinernes Bankerl" ("small rocky bench") and around Mitterberg.

Felsen Goldlack (Erysimum sylvestre) near the rocky bench

Cypress spurge (Euphorbia cyparissias) is growing here.

"Steinernes Bankerl" is a rocky formation with a comfortable sitting area for at least three persons, like a bench, with a fine view to Winzendorf.

Lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis) in the nearby forest.

A bit further lots of blooming wild garlic (Ramson, Allium ursinum).

Having left the Prosset - gorge, we enter fields and grassland, and the view widens to show Schneeberg ...

... which still is living up to its name (Schneeberg = "Snow mountain")

Hohe Wand, as seen from already near Netting.
