22.8.2020: Schattensee and Waidschober.
Get up early and start the journey in time is today´s device, because heavy storms and rain are forecast for the afternoon and the coming night. So I start at 6:30 a.m. from home, and after arrival at the apartment of Claudia Siebenhofer and leaving the luggage there, I start my walk from the Schattensee to the Waidschober as early as 10 a.m..
The Schattensee ("shadow lake") is situated at 1.317 m asl, a narrow gravel road leads up.

Lucy and Bella taker a rest at the summit Gipfelbefore we sart the way back, on a different route without a way through the forest. The resultat of the detour: boletus fried like Wiener Schnitzel for this evening, and chanterelle sauce on Monday.
