Once more dense fog is hanging over Winzendorf, but it can easily be seen that it does not reach up very high, and Schneeberg - Webcam is showing the same. SO, I drive up to Dreistetten, to walk up to Herrgottschnitzerhaus from there.
First the light is dull, so only a few pictures.
The view from Herrgottschnitzerhaus is stunning today. A thin layer of dust over Neue Welt, but it is visible already. In this altitude, the temperature is clearly above zero, the snow is thawing and rather watery, which makes it considerably slippery. The view in direction of Vienna. Dense fog over there.
View over Neue Welt and the Prosset-gorge to the mist- covered southern Vienna´s plain with the Rosalia mountains and the Bucklige Welt in behind.
Back down near Dreistetten; the sun is shining now. First foen clouds in the sky.

The Fischau mountains. The cold air still embraces this region, the snow is cold and powdery.
Once more a panorama of the dust-covered "Neue Welt". In the sky foen clouds clearly can be seen. Nonetheless, it will last till tomorrow for the thaw to reach valley level (next day, in Reichenau on Rax, which is somewhere in the valley right to the distant horizon, it got up to +15°C!).
