Hohe Wand 18.11.2006
Dense fog is hanging over the southern Wiener Becken during the last two days. However, a view on Schneeberg webcam showed me that the sun is shining on the mountains. So we start for a short family walk on Hohe Wand, from Gasthaus Kleine Kanzel (1.065 m) to Wilhelm Eichert - Huette (1.052 m)
Schon vom Parkplatz aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick zum Schneeberg (2.075 m).
The path leads through dense forest with nearly no views. On the way in Wanddoerfl (a few private houses) a friendly dog owner.
Suddenly, the view opens as we reach the southern escarpments of Hohe Wand. The cloud see is overwhelming: Schneeberg ...
