A short tour to look for first orchids. Very restricted time due to continued gardening, so I take the car to Bad Fischau and further to Dreistetten and walk to that grassland near the disused Finkenhaus.
At first, however, I have to take a short detour to Saubersdorf to admire Schneeberg.
First oilseed rape fields in flower.
The willows near the Mori beck are getting young leaves ...
... as well as the trees in the forest "am Kürassier" .
Viola (I cannot identify the subspecies, sorry!)
Now look - the first exemplars of Green winged orchids (Orchis morio).
Close to the former, some dots of spring gentians (Gentiana verna)
Common cowslip (Primula veris) ...
... and its "sister", the true oxlips (Primula eliator)
Greater stitchwort (Stellaria holostea)
Berg Täschelkraut (Thlaspi montanum)
Spring vetchling (Lathyrus vernus)
Periwinkle (Vinca major) along the road.
Lesser celandine (Ficaria verna)
spotted deadnettle (Lamium maculatum) along the road

Horse chestnut alley up to ruin Emmerberg.
