Flowers near Bad Fischau 30.3.2014

I cannot remember a year when spring came that early. Pictures with similarly developed flowers derive from18th April, 2013, that is three weeks later in the year! I take the mountain bike to ride to the "iris grassland" near Bad Fischau/Brunn.

Lots of flowrishing Iris pumila ...

 ... in different colors ...

... and color variants

Belated Pasque Flower in the shadow of some trees.

Flowrishing St Lucie cherry (Prunus mahaleb)

Pheasants eye (Adonis vernalis) shortly before Brunn

Flowrishing peach trees in a vineyard.

Flowrishing blackthorn

Sherry trees in full bloom

Back to my garden. A small patch of iris pumila that I have drawn from seeds a few years ago.

Grape hyacynths ...

... are allowed to grow in masses in my garden.

Magnolia in full bloom, ...

 ... and Kaiserkrone, ...

 ... Forsithia ...

 ... and garden hyazinths.

Laying around to take the picture, a visitor appears, ...

... which is well suited as a background for a picture.

May I introduce you to Sammy, our male cat.
