A week ago, the Adriatic lizard orchids (Himantoglossum adriaticum) were still closed or open only in lower prtions. So, I have a second look ...

And indeed: On the aqueduct dam, where everything was cut down last year shortly before  the flower, this year they are allowed to stay - I find about 40 flowers!

Some of them even huge.

On this field scabious (Knautia arvensis)...

 ... a marbled fritillary (Brenthis daphne) is sucking. A Stenurella melanura - beetle is joning. Thanks to Susanne Weickert for identification of the beetle!
